Jubilee

Every generation has a handful of perfect albums. This is one of them.

Took a few listens to click but now I can't stop playing it.

Pleasant listening experience but not something I'll return to often.

A monumental achievement in every sense.

An extraordinary piece of art. Simply transcendent.

Decent album with a handful of really excellent tracks. The problem is the material between those peaks isn't compelling enough to hold your attention. Worth cherry-picking the highlights for a playlist.

Peak creative output from an artist at the top of their game.

Middle of the road for this artist. Not bad by any means but not essential.

Fine album from a good band. Nothing offensive, nothing transcendent. It sits comfortably in the middle of their discography and that's okay. Not everything needs to be a masterpiece to be worth your time.
