The instrumentation is gorgeous throughout. Really well produced.

Ambitious and mostly successful. A couple of missteps keep it from true perfection.

This was the album that got me into this genre and honestly nothing else has matched it since. The songwriting is inspired, the performances are committed, and the whole thing hangs together as a complete artistic vision. Masterful stuff.

I've listened to this front to back more times than I can count and it never loses its magic. The production is meticulous without ever feeling sterile, and every track contributes something essential to the whole. One of those albums that genuinely changed my taste in music.

Enjoyable but not groundbreaking. Good for what it is.
