I've listened to this front to back more times than I can count and it never loses its magic. The production is meticulous without ever feeling sterile, and every track contributes something essential to the whole. One of those albums that genuinely changed my taste in music.

Really impressive debut that announced a major new talent. There are a few rough edges that betray inexperience, but the raw ability and creative vision are undeniable. Can't wait to hear what comes next.

I played this for my partner who doesn't even like this genre and they were blown away. That's the sign of a truly great album — it transcends taste. The hooks are undeniable, the depth is real, and the replay value is infinite.

Coming back to this after not listening for a couple years and I'm struck by how well it holds up. The second half doesn't sustain quite the same energy as the first, and there's one production choice that I still find slightly distracting. But taken as a whole, this is a deeply satisfying listen that I'd recommend to pretty much anyone. The kind of album that transcends genre boundaries.

I've given this the benefit of the doubt across multiple listens over multiple years and my opinion hasn't budged. Overrated, overlong, and overwrought. The good moments are too few and far between to justify the runtime.

Not quite their best work but honestly that's a high bar. This is still a fantastic album by any reasonable standard. The songwriting is sharp, the sound is distinctive, and it's got great replay value.

There's a really great EP buried inside this album. The problem is the surrounding material dilutes the impact. When this hits, it HITS — a couple of these tracks are among the best things they've ever done. But then you get a run of three mediocre songs in a row and the momentum completely dies. I appreciate the attempt at a longer, more ambitious project, but I think this artist works better in shorter formats. The ideas here are strong but they're stretched too thin. Still worth hearing for the highlights though.

The standout tracks here are among the best songs released in the last decade.
