Started strong but lost me in the back half. The opening three tracks had me excited and then it just sort of coasts on autopilot. Would have been a much stronger EP than it is an album.

I wanted to like this more than I did. Some good ideas buried under uneven execution.

The talent is obvious but the execution is inconsistent.

I've given this album a fair shot — probably seven or eight full listens — and I just can't connect with it the way so many people seem to. The opening track drew me in with its promise of something special, but the album never delivers on that promise. It keeps gesturing toward profundity without actually achieving it. The production is admittedly impressive from a technical standpoint, and there are flashes of genuine songwriting talent. But too much of this feels like an artist trying to be Important with a capital I rather than just making good music. I wanted to love it, I really did.

Probably the most perfectly sequenced album I've ever heard. Each track sets up the next one beautifully and the climax hits like a freight train. The fact that they pulled this off is honestly kind of miraculous.

Some truly transcendent moments here. A few tracks feel like filler but overall stellar.

The emotional depth here is staggering. I was completely floored the first time.

Pretentious and meandering. Style over substance.

This took a while to grow on me. My first impression was honestly lukewarm — it seemed solid but not special. But something kept pulling me back, and around the fourth or fifth listen, the whole thing suddenly opened up. What I'd initially dismissed as simplicity revealed itself as remarkable economy. Every note is exactly where it needs to be. Now I consider it one of the better albums in my collection. The emotional arc is beautifully constructed, building from understated opening tracks to a genuinely powerful climax. A couple of tracks in the middle still feel slightly underdeveloped, but the overall experience is deeply rewarding.

Every generation has a handful of perfect albums. This is one of them.
