Let England Shake

Not terrible but certainly not deserving of the acclaim.

Tried really hard to get into this and gave it way more chances than most albums. Some sections are legitimately interesting but they're sandwiched between long stretches of tedium. Not worth the effort for most listeners.

Feels self-indulgent in places. Could have been much better with editing.

Pleasant listening experience but not something I'll return to often.

Some truly transcendent moments here. A few tracks feel like filler but overall stellar.

Lost me about halfway through. The front end is promising though.

I was skeptical of the hype but this completely lives up to it.
